What is the best bible translation? The best bible translation is the one(s) that you will read. Comparing more than one translation can help you with deeper bible study, and that is where bible tools like e-sword are very helpful. We like reading translations that use the original Hebrew names instead of LORD, which is not a name but a title that could be applied to any pagan god. There aren't any perfect English translations. We use a Reference Tagger on this website so that people can read the bible references directly on the site. We have chosen the KJV because there weren't any reference taggers available in any True Names translations, and many who do Hebrew word studies are already using Strong's from KJV. There are issues with bible tools and not just translations, so be aware and do your own research.
