Sewing Classes Have Resumed

Sewing Classes have resumed after the instructor's maternity leave. Please join us in prayer that Yahuah will bless these ladies with excellent sewing skills, and that they will become self sufficient with the skills they are learning.

The sewing classes have been well received and a Pakistan Leader has requested 16 more machines at $70 per machine for another group of women.
Total: 16 new sewing machines requested: $1,120. Please pray that Yahuah would supply these machines and change the lives of these women and their families.

Winning Pakistan began offering sewing classes to women in July 2022. A ministry Leader's wife is the sewing class teacher. She teaches sewing classes Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and has a bible study class on the Sabbath. Every sewing class begins with prayer, then they read the Word of Yahuah and share truth with the ladies that attend. Next, they learn how to sew with sewing machines that have been donated to these women. The goal is for the women and widows to learn a skill that will enable them to provide an income for their families so they can be independent and not forced into indentured servitude in brickyards. Sewing is a great marketable skill. They will be able to use their sewing skills to make and alter clothing for themselves and their families. They will sell the needlework, apparel, and textile arts pieces at local marketplaces. They are interested in expanding to sell custom-tailored clothing and other needlework items online. Tailors and dressmakers cut, sew, mend, and alter clothing. Typically, tailors work only with menswear, such as suits, jackets, and coats, while dressmakers work with women's clothing, including dresses, blouses, suits, evening wear, wedding and bridesmaids gowns, and sportswear. We are excited that this opportunity for women in Pakistan will empower them to create a real positive impact and change in their families' lives.
